Mackmyra Whisky Dinner - 25th of May 2019

On May 25th we welcome our good friend Martin from Mackmyra Whisky. Martin and our great team of chef´s invite you for a great evening with focus on whisky. Mackmyra, the first producer of whisky in Sweden celebrate 20 years of business during this year and we can look forward to an evening where we will hear more about the story, the future and of course try great whisky.

The evening starts with an aperitif and thereafter Head Chef Morgan Giraud and his team will serve a three course menu listed below, all courses following our gastronomic philosophy forest, lake and meadow. As this wasn’t enough Martin will pair each course with whisky of his choice from the grand portfolio of Mackmyra.



Pan-seared white asparagus with blackened and sugar salted trout, served with sour cream topped with lumpfish roe and a crisp salad with herbs of spring
Main course
Warm-smoked breast of rooster, herb-filled ballotine from Tockafarmen served with green asparagus, pan-seared onions from Solmarka Farm, a variation of carrots from Botulf and a sky sauce of lightly-smoked ox marrow
Rhubarb poached with raspberries and almond cake, an ice-cream of yoghurt and black salsify


The dinner starts at 7 PM and is served in our private banquet hall. We offer two different packages for this event:

Package 1:
– Three course menu with whisky pairing
– Aperitif
– Shared accommodation, category Classic
– Wi-fi
– Access to our pools, sauna and gym
– Our awarded breakfast served at PM Bar
Price: 1 895 SEK per person

Package 2:
– Three course menu with whisky pairing
Price: 995 SEK per person

Upon making a reservation we will kindly ask for your credit card details to secure the reservation and avoid late cancellations. Cancellations made later than 17th of May will be charged 995 SEK per person.
